Answers To Your Most Common Questions About FASTBRACES®
Answers To Your Most Common Questions About 6 Month Smiles
Q: How Can Teeth Be Straightened In Only 120 days With Adult Braces?
A: The FASTBRACES® technique employs the latest technology and techniques in dentistry to move your teeth quickly and safely with clear adult braces. The key components of the treatment are the use of unique,  braces and a primary focus of moving the teeth that show when you smile.
Q: FASTBRACES® sounds good, but will I still have a mouth full of metal braces for the whole time?
A: The FASTBRACES® patented technology enables dentist providers to grow alveolar bone in order to straighten teeth quickly and avoid tooth extraction or sometimes even jaw surgery. FASTBRACES® technology brackets allow the process of straightening the roots of the teeth to an upright position from the beginning of treatment by using patented braces, a patented method for restoring the morphology of the alveolar bone, and a patented method for treating orthodontitis of the gums (gingivitis around crooked teeth). These new technology systems of braces facilitate the continuation of eruption while inducing alveolar bone remodeling and development in short treatment times by moving the roots toward their final naturally erupted position from the beginning of treatment. This orthodontically induced movement of teeth results in the successful treatment of almost all cases non-extraction. Some examples of the cases presented here finished in about 120 days. This time frame is similar to the natural eruption of teeth from the moment the tooth appears in the mouth until it touches the teeth of the opposing dental arch.
Q: Do FASTBRACES® damage the teeth, roots, or gums?
A: There are no more risks of root damage or other issues than those associated with traditional orthodontics. Since the forces used with FASTBRACES® are lighter and teeth are seldom extracted, there are actually even fewer risks involved with FASTBRACES®
Q: Will I have to wear a retainer?
A: Yes, as with any teeth-straightening treatment a retainer is necessary to maintain the straighter position of your teeth. If you don’t want to wear a removable retainer, you can have a bonded retainer placed. There are a variety of options that you can choose from according to your personal preference and situation.
Q: What's the catch?
A: There is no catch. If you have adult teeth with crooked or spaced teeth and you're not looking for a major alteration to your bite, this could be the solution for you! Most adults ARE candidates for FASTBRACES®
